I own two projection screens and one projector which can be configured to your unique presentation. Both are clean and minimally invasive.
The 7.5 ft 16:9 format screen is compact and carries a quality of elegance. When ready for use, it pulls up from the floor to be 8-10 ft tall, easily rising above seated dinner guests. When setup inside, it is standalone. When setup in an outdoor location, it needs to be under a tent/canopy and secured somehow. Often this is done by setting the screen up against a tent wall or tucked into the top of an Island Rents 10×10 canopy. I can also sometimes use my white nylon rope/ties to attach the screen to a tent post. If it is too windy, I will retract the screen into it’s case. The projector needs to be 5 ft in front of this screen to fill the display with optimal HD quality. The projector and DVD player sit on a black cart (see photo), which can be moved into position and adjusted when a presentation is about to begin (5 min setup). 84 inch screen & projector: 1 hr setup time.
The 8.5 ft 16:9 format screen is ideal for outdoor use. The screen is attached to two heavy duty black stands (tethered to the ground if necessary), which keep it secure in winds up to around 15 knots depending on wind direction. The stands and screen take up a width of 9 feet and 4 ft deep. This screen can withstand rain drizzle. The projector needs to be 6 ft in front of this screen to fill the display with optimal HD quality. The projector and DVD player sits on a black cart (see photo), which can be moved into position and adjusted when a presentation is about to begin (5 min setup). 8.5 ft screen & projector: 1 hr setup time.
If presenting a slideshow outdoors, the sun cannot be directly shining on the projection screen or the image will be washed out by too much external light. After 7:30pm HST is fine.
