#steamboatwedding at #perrymansfieldwedding — Megan & Dylan!
Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp is one of those venues that stops you in your tracks the moment you arrive. Nestled in the woods just outside of Steamboat Springs, it carries over a century of artistic history in its bones — and it makes for one of the most unique and soul-filled wedding settings in all of Colorado.
Megan and Dylan were a perfect match for it. They didn’t want a cookie-cutter reception. They wanted something that felt like them — rooted, warm, a little unconventional, and completely full of heart. That’s exactly what they got.
The snow was falling softly by the time the dancing started, and the combination of the rustic camp setting, the string lights, and a room full of people who had traveled through a Colorado winter to celebrate these two made the whole night feel like something out of a dream.
My job in a setting like that is to honor the atmosphere while still building energy. You don’t fight a venue like Perry-Mansfield — you work with it. Slower, more intentional transitions early in the night. Letting the room fill up naturally. Then, when the moment is right, you open the floor and let it go.
By the end of the night, nobody was thinking about the cold outside.
Megan and Dylan — congrats again. Steamboat is lucky to have weddings like yours.
